Entrepreneur Sydney Mateuzu has pledged to invest in Zim dancehall artistes.
Mateuzu, who is into printing fabrics and clothes, said he is giving a percentage of his turnover to Zim dancehall artistes.
The 24-year-old said investing in music is key to developing successful musical projects.
“I have realised that most youths, some of my age and others below my age are more into music with hopes to make money.
“This gave me the drive to invest in young people with the passion to change their lives.
“So I decided to take 10 percent of my profit to support the art.
“Music needs investment because it’s a business that also thrives on inputs to come up with good quality,” said Muteuzu.
The Chitungwiza based has collaborated with XMC Music studio for the LionArts Riddim.
“I have partnered with XMC Music studio on a riddim called LionArts where I have sponsored all the needs needed for the project.
“The riddim will include artistes like Hwindi President, Crystal Rich, Doctor B, Nyerex, Eggy Fire, Skadda Tee and others.
“It will be released this Sunday on October 31,” he said.
