Popular Zim Dancehall singer Jah Master has praised his Pastor who he referred to as his spiritual father and the person who helped him revive his brand after he had given up, The Standard reports.
Speaking to the publication, the Hello Mwari singer said the pastor is the one who brought him back to Zimbabwe after he had left Zimbabwe for greener pastures in South Africa:
After having done a number of productions locally, I discovered life wanted me to seek an alternative means of livelihood, and so I packed my bags and left for South Africa where I found a job as a barman.
But while out there, word got to me that my music was being played so much back home and I resolved to return and re-strategise. And a few months later here we are with him being one of the hottest artists of the genre we have. He is following the teachings of his pastor for sure as he over the weekend paid Lobola to his in-laws.
The singer who is a father of one with baby mama Mai Jordan has been doing well and is a good father and husband too. That can be seen on his social media platforms, he regularly post them and they are a happy family indeed. From the report and pictures we got, the ceremony went just fine. People were happy and he is leading by a good example as he is now a role model of many.
