Legendary Rhumba queen Yondo Sister is set to return to Zimbabwe and hold her last show.
Yondo Sister wants to hold one last show before she retires from holding live shows altogether.
Yondo Sister Coming Back To Zimbabwe
Her manager Rosa Lubende confirmed the news and said Yondo Sister is set to tour Africa.
She hopes Covid-19 will not affect her show at the Harare International Conference Centre in August next year.
Yondo Sister who stays in France, last toured Africa in June last year where she performed in Kenya,” .
“She released her latest single titled ‘Hope Je T’ embrassirre’ (I will hug you) which is now trending on YouTube, Spotify and her Facebook page” said Rosa
“Amai Titi will be one of the supporting artistes, she is one of Yondo Sister’s biggest fans.
Rosa who is part Zimbabwean said said they hope Covid-19 will be a thing of the past by August 2021 and she will be happy to be in her mother’s country although her father is Congolese.
“My marriage to a Congolese gave me opportunity to manage Yondo Sister and promoting Koffi Olomide and Mafikizolo.
Rosa revealed that Yondo Sister is a mother of 3 boys and her last born is a lead guitarist in her band, so they will becoming to Zimbabwe together.
“Yondo Sister cannot wait to give a spirited performance in Zimbabwe a show she says will be her last before working at the back stage,”
Rosaria Lubende was born in Highfields at Harare Central Hospital. She grew up in Highfiled’s New Canaan, attended to Mhofu Primary School and Highfield High School.
